This Privacy Policy applies to Doctor's Street services, including the Android application identified by package com.doctorstreetcare.app and this website. References to “Doctor's Street”, “we”, “us”, or “our” mean the operator of these services.
Doctor's Street is a digital marketplace that connects buyers with sellers and suppliers of medical equipment, devices, and supplies. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and profile details, such as name, email address, phone number, password credentials, preferred language, and profile type.
- Seller, provider, or business information and verification documents when those features are used.
- Delivery addresses, approximate or precise location when you grant permission, and delivery preferences.
- Cart, order, purchase, payment-status, refund, and delivery information.
- Product listings, photos, documents, support requests, ratings, favourites, and other content you submit.
Information collected automatically
- Device and app information, push-notification tokens, IP address, language, operating system, and app version.
- App interactions, performance measurements, diagnostic events, and crash information.
- Location data only when a location feature is used and device permission is granted.
Google Sign-In may provide your Google account identifier, name, email address, profile picture, and an ID token used to authenticate with Doctor's Street. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or calendar.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and maintain profiles.
- Operate product discovery, listings, carts, orders, payments, refunds, and delivery.
- Show relevant sellers, routes, locations, availability, and delivery estimates.
- Send account, order, security, and service notifications.
- Provide support, respond to requests, and process account-deletion requests.
- Detect misuse, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and protect users and the platform.
- Measure reliability, diagnose crashes, improve performance, and develop services.
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, and record-keeping duties.
4. How we disclose information
We disclose information only as needed to operate the service or meet legal obligations. Recipients may include:
- Sellers, buyers, suppliers, and delivery participants when needed to process a transaction or fulfil an order.
- Google and Firebase for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and messaging.
- Mapbox when maps, geocoding, directions, or location-based delivery features are used.
- Payment providers, including Bravo, to initiate or confirm payments. Providers process payment data under their own notices; Doctor's Street may receive transaction references, status, and related order information.
- Infrastructure and professional providers that host, secure, maintain, or support the platform under appropriate obligations.
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, necessary to protect rights and safety, or involved in a legitimate business transfer.
We do not sell personal information. The app includes analytics and diagnostic technologies that may process device identifiers. We do not use personal information for personalised advertising unless this is separately disclosed and any required consent is obtained.
5. Your choices and rights
- Update available profile, address, language, and notification settings in the app.
- Control location, notification, camera, photo, and media permissions in device settings.
- Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information where applicable law provides those rights.
- Request account deletion through the application or contact support.
Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or transaction-record obligations. We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request.
6. Retention, security, and international processing
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, while an account is active, and for legitimate legal or operational requirements. Retention periods vary by data type and transaction.
We use access controls, encrypted network communication where supported, monitoring, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
7. Children
Doctor's Street is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the service or enter marketplace transactions. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information without valid permission should contact us.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
